How Freja unified rate management and saved 10–15 minutes on every quote

The problem with local rate sheets
Each Freja office maintained its own view of carrier pricing. The rates weren't wrong, but they weren't shared either, so the same contract was maintained more than once and customers occasionally saw inconsistent numbers.
Standardising without centralising everything
Freja kept local commercial autonomy while moving the underlying rate data into one place. Permissions let each office manage its own lanes; the network gets a single consolidated view.
New joiners now learn one system rather than inheriting a colleague's workbook conventions.
The measurable outcome
The team timed themselves before and after. Ten to fifteen minutes disappeared from every quote, largely because nobody had to hunt for a valid rate or recalculate surcharges by hand.
